Over a year has passed since the Lok Sabha elections, sparking curiosity about people's opinions on Prime Minister Modi's performance and the NDA government's achievements. To capture the public sentiment, India Today partnered with CVoter to conduct the 'Mood of the Nation' survey. With a substantial sample size of 206,826, this survey was carried out from July 1, 2025, to August 14, 2025.
When asked about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's performance, 34% of respondents rated it as excellent, 24% as good, 13% as poor, and 14% as very poor.

Regarding the NDA government's performance, 52% of people expressed satisfaction or high satisfaction, while 27% conveyed dissatisfaction or severe dissatisfaction.

What are the NDA government's major achievements? 17% of respondents acclaimed the Ram Temple and Kashi Vishwanath Corridor. Additionally, 12% highlighted Operation Sindoor, 10% applauded infrastructure development, and 9% praised the abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir. Welfare schemes were noted by 7%, while 6% viewed a corruption-free government as a significant achievement.

As for the NDA government's significant failures, 27% of participants pointed to unemployment. Price rise or inflation was another concern for 21%, while 7% were concerned about economic progress. Communal violence and minority fears worried 6%, and 5% saw women's safety as a major failure.
