Should national elections be held today, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would see an increase to 324 seats, with BJP’s seats expected to rise from 240 to 260. Despite the surge, BJP may still fall short of the magic number of 272 for a majority. These outcomes are drawn from the 'Mood of the Nation' survey by India Today and C-Voter.
This expansive survey involved all states and Lok Sabha constituencies between July 1 and August 14, 2025, incorporating responses from 54,788 individuals of various age groups, castes, religions, and genders. Additionally, opinions from 152,038 people over the past 24 weeks were included, culminating in a comprehensive analysis based on a total of 206,826 voices. Notably, these figures have a potential margin of error: approximately 3% for broader estimates and 5% for specific nuances.
