The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has witnessed remarkable success with its rapid sales in Narela, Outer Delhi. The 'Karmyogi Housing Scheme 2025' has spearheaded this transformation in a region where DDA struggled for years to attract buyers. Within just a week of opening bookings on January 14, approximately 65% of the 1,165 flats offered under the scheme have been sold. It's the first time such incredible interest has been seen in premium flats in a place like Narela.

A Generous 25% Discount for Government Employees
This special housing scheme was launched last month specifically for active and retired government employees. The standout feature is a direct 25% discount on these 'ready-to-move-in' flats. Thanks to the discounted rates and enhanced amenities, the project has successfully attracted buyers who were previously hesitant to invest in Narela.
Looking at booking data, there's been an overwhelming demand for the affordable 1-BHK flats. All 319 one-bedroom flats offered under the scheme were sold out on the very first day of booking. Through these sales, DDA has generated approximately 1.08 billion INR in revenue.

Growing Interest in the Premium Category
Selling 2-BHK and 3-BHK flats in Narela has usually posed a major challenge, but this time, trends have shifted. Data shows 333 out of 552 2-BHK units are booked, generating 2.66 billion INR in revenue. Additionally, 106 out of 271 3BHK premium flats have been sold, pulling in 1.15 billion INR. Overall, DDA has thus far collected 4.89 billion INR from all segments.
The increased interest in these premium and affordable housing options signifies a turn towards positive development for Narela as a promising investment hub.
