The statement by Hanuman Beniwal, Nagaur MP and leader of the National Democratic Party, about Vasundhara Raje has gone viral. During campaigning for his wife Kanika Beniwal in Nagaur, Hanuman Beniwal humorously remarked about Rajasthan's Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, saying that Rajnath Singh handed over a slip to Vasundhara Raje to make her the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. Vasundhara Raje was surprised upon opening the slip. If she had the courage, she would have read her own name from the slip given by Rajnath Singh. A shrewd leader would have done so.

Beniwal also criticized Congress leader Divya Maderna, mentioning that she went to Gehlot for help, but he didn't assist her. Gehlot continued to have the family dance to his tunes and got Divya Maderna jailed in the Bhanwari case, despite Beniwal's help in getting her elected.

In fact, Divya Maderna had ridiculed Hanuman Beniwal, stating that those who act like big leaders are bowing down to people in Khinwsar at 4 AM, with their conditions worsened. Those claiming to help others get elected are troubled themselves. Hanuman Beniwal's wife Kanika Beniwal is contesting elections from Khinwsar on the National Democratic Party's ticket.

The BJP has dealt a blow to Congress, which is fighting to maintain its identity in the by-election for the Khinwsar assembly seat in Nagaur district. Recently, a prominent BJP figure, Jyoti Mirdha, brought former district president Sukhveer Singh Choudhary among a dozen Congress leaders to the BJP headquarters in Jaipur, where state president Madan Rathod adorned them with BJP scarves, inducting them into the party.

Previously, Jyoti Mirdha had also convinced Nagaur Congress leader Durg Singh Chauhan to join the BJP. The National Democratic Party's Rewataram Danga, who was included in the BJP in the last election and granted a ticket, is contesting the election again this time.

In Nagaur, after Hanuman Beniwal left the BJP, the party was weakened, but ever since Jyoti Mirdha joined the BJP from Congress, she has been continuously drawing leaders from other parties into the BJP.
