A shocking incident has come to light from Mumbai. Troubled by financial difficulties, 38-year-old engineer Srinivas jumped into the sea from Atal Setu on Wednesday afternoon. The police reported that the body has not yet been recovered, and local fishermen are actively searching for it. It is said that Srinivas left his home around 11:30 PM on Wednesday and spoke to his wife and four-year-old daughter over the phone. However, no one had any inkling that he was planning to commit suicide.

According to Srinivas's family, his financial condition was extremely poor. In 2023, while working in Kuwait, he drank a floor-cleaning liquid in a suicide attempt. Following this incident, his family has been in deep sorrow. To find Srinivas, help from fishing boats and marine security guards is being sought. However, bad weather is hampering the search efforts.

The CCTV footage of this incident has also emerged, showing Srinivas arriving at Atal Setu in his Tata Nexon car. He climbs the bridge railing and jumps into the sea. According to the police, Srinivas was a resident of Kuruturi Dombivli and had returned home from Kuwait about 8 months ago. He started his own business in Mumbai.

The police pointed out that due to rain and high tide, the search operation is facing difficulties. It's worth noting that this is the second suicide attempt from Atal Setu; on March 20, a female doctor took her life in a similar manner by jumping from the bridge.
