The bridge construction over Khareera River in Gujarat's Navsari district for the bullet train project was completed on October 29. All nine river bridges between Vapi and Surat bullet train stations have been completed. Out of the 20 river bridges in Gujarat, 12 have been finished. This is the 12th completed bridge among the 20 planned bridges in Gujarat.
Main Features of the Khareera River Bridge:
* The bridge is 120 meters long.
* It includes 3 full-span girders (each 40 meters).
* The pier heights range from 14.5 meters to 19 meters.
* There is one circular pier of 4 meters and three circular piers of 5 meters in diameter.
* It is located between Vapi and Bilimora bullet train stations. Bridges over Kolak, Par, Auranga, and Kaveri Rivers are completed between these two stations.
* Khareera River is one of the tributaries of the Ambika River, originating from the hills of Vansda Taluka along the Gujarat-Maharashtra border region.
* The river is approximately 45 kilometers from Vapi Bullet Train Station and 6 kilometers from Bilimora Bullet Train Station.

Significant progress has been made in the construction of this high-speed rail corridor. All nine river bridges between Gujarat's Vapi and Surat bullet train stations have been completed. Recently, the construction of a 120-meter-long bridge over the Khareera River in Navsari district was finished. With this achievement, 12 out of the planned 20 river bridges in Gujarat have been completed.
