Late Sunday night in Morbi, Gujarat, a major disaster struck when a tractor trolley carrying 19 passengers plunged into the river. Upon receiving the alert, the NDRF team swiftly arrived and managed to rescue 10 individuals. However, 9 people are still unaccounted for, and search operations are actively ongoing.
Reports suggest that continuous heavy rainfall led to flooding in the Kanakavati River near Dhavana village in Halvad tehsil. The river's water overflowed onto the roads, causing the tractor trolley to overturn and be swept away by the current. There were approximately 19 passengers on board.
