Near the overbridge in Kundipura police station area of Chhindwara, a man on a bike gave a couple a lift around midnight. During the journey, he started harassing the woman. Enraged, the husband and wife stabbed the man multiple times, killing him. This tragic event occurred on August 12.
Pushpraj alias Jitendra Godre and his wife Anjali, residents of Sharda Chowk, were sitting near the overbridge between 12 AM and 1 AM when Vishal Yadav arrived on his bike and offered them a lift. On the way, Vishal began harassing Pushpraj's wife Anjali.
Angered by his actions, the couple stabbed Vishal 10 to 12 times, leaving him severely injured. On August 12, Vishal had lodged a report against unknown individuals at the Kundipura police station. Subsequently, he succumbed to his injuries.
The police, using CCTV footage, arrested the suspects, Pushpraj and his wife Anjali. During the intense interrogation, they confessed to everything. The accused couple revealed that Vishal stopped the bike at Sarada Chowk Sonepur Road and attempted to harass Anjali. When Pushpraj objected, Vishal abused him. This led to Pushpraj and his wife Anjali stabbing him in the stomach 8-10 times in a fit of rage.
Chhindwara SP Manish Khatri revealed the details of the murder, stating that Vishal Yadav was killed on August 12. In this case, the police arrested the accused, Pushpraj, and Anjali. On the night of August 12, under the pretense of giving a lift, the deceased harassed Anjali, which enraged the husband and wife, leading to the fatal assault.
