The Special Cell of Delhi Police has captured three cunning criminals of a gang specializing in ATM theft. The arrested members are Imran, Salman, and Shakeel. Police stated that more than a dozen cases of murder and robbery are registered against Imran. Recently, this gang had uprooted an ATM from Badarpur containing 3.4 million. The Delhi Police had been hunting for this gang since.

According to Delhi Police, on the night of March 31, an ATM was taken from a bank in Badarpur, containing approximately 3.4 million rupees. Upon investigation, CCTV footage revealed a Bolero vehicle at the scene, leading police to suspect the involvement of the Mewat Gang. The police began gathering information in the Mewat area. During this, intelligence surfaced that gang members Imran and Salman were heading to Delhi's Lado Sarai.

Subsequently, on the night of April 6, the Delhi Police team spotted both criminals arriving in a vehicle during a routine check at Lado Sarai. Police demanded they surrender, but as per accounts, Imran brandished a pistol and fired at the police team. However, the officers managed to apprehend both. A semi-automatic pistol was recovered from Imran and a firearm from Salman.

Notably, Imran is the leader of this gang. He and his four accomplices planned the ATM heist in Badarpur. A Bolero was stolen from Sunlight Colony on March 21 to facilitate their crime. After uprooting the ATM, they loaded it into the vehicle and left. After splitting the cash among themselves, they discarded the ATM machine in a well in Mewat. As per police records, Imran alone faces over 20 criminal charges, including murder and attempted murder. Investigations continue to nab the remaining gang members.
