The shocking and grim case of Saurabh Rajput's murder in Meerut has now come to light. It was none other than Saurabh's own wife, Muskan, who, in collaboration with her lover Sahil, orchestrated the sinister plot. Before the murder, they drugged Saurabh through his food, and once he was unconscious, Muskan and Sahil used a kitchen knife to stab him.

Further investigation revealed that after the murder, they concealed his body in a plastic drum within their home and embarked on a seemingly carefree trip to Manali, Kasol, and Shimla. The truth emerged when Muskan later confided in her mother, leading to the unraveling of the entire incident. Currently, both accused have been detained by the police, and Saurabh's body has been recovered. The motive behind the murder appears to be illicit relations and financial disputes, and the investigation continues on this grim episode.

The case gained a critical turning point on March 18, 2025, when Bablu, Saurabh's brother, reported to the police that Saurabh had gone missing since March 5. Bablu suspected foul play involving his sister-in-law Muskan and her lover, Sahil Shukla. The police promptly registered the case and started their investigation.

Muskan, in a calculated move, mixed sedatives in Saurabh’s meal, leaving him unconscious. She then called Sahil to their residence, where, together, they stabbed Saurabh before brutally slashing his throat. To dispose of the evidence, they dismembered him and later purchased a large plastic drum, cement, and sand to conceal his remains.

Upon their return by the night of March 17, the police had intensified their probe. The interrogation was relentless, and both culprits confessed. Their confession led to the retrieval of Saurabh's body from the drum, along with the murder weapons.

To avoid suspicion, Muskan had carried Saurabh's phone. Pretending to be Saurabh, she interacted with relatives, easing any potential suspicions. She even chatted with Saurabh’s sister, Chinki, during the Holi festivities, keenly avoiding inquiry about his absence with their daughter Pihoo by attributing it to health issues.

Despite the disguise, the family grew uneasy when their attempts to contact him via WhatsApp went unanswered, prompting them to begin the search for Saurabh.

The police have now apprehended both protagonists of this sinister love affair and started legal proceedings. This ghastly incident in Meerut starkly highlights the perilous path of destructive relationships and stands as a chilling example of crime.
