The Meerut Police in UP have unraveled the Saurabh Rajput murder case. Following the arrest of Saurabh's wife, Muskan, and her lover Sahil Shukla, the police presented the details to the media. According to the report, Muskan and Sahil dismembered Saurabh's body into three pieces and submerged them in a plastic drum filled with cement.
The plan to kill Saurabh was hatched in November 2024, with the first murder attempt occurring in February 2025. However, Muskan and Sahil failed. It wasn't until March 2025 that they succeeded. On March 4, by stabbing Saurabh in the chest, his murder was executed. Following the stabbing, Saurabh’s neck and hands were severed, the parts were placed in a drum, and cement was poured over.
Meerut Police revealed that the mastermind behind this gruesome act was none other than Saurabh’s wife Muskan, who, along with her lover Sahil, carried out the murder. Initially, they drugged Saurabh during dinner. Once he was unconscious, Muskan guided Sahil's hand to fatally stab Saurabh with a knife used for cutting chicken.
Afterward, the body was concealed inside a drum at home. Following the crime, Muskan and Sahil went on a trip to Manali, Kasol, and Shimla. Upon returning, the crime came to light when Muskan confided in her mother about the incident, who then promptly informed the police.

Alongside the murder, Muskan and Sahil attempted to access Saurabh's bank funds unsuccessfully. Muskan then approached her mother for money. When the mother inquired about Saurabh, Muskan, under pressure, inadvertently disclosed the entire conspiracy. Horrified by the tale, her mother alerted the authorities immediately. Muskan was detained and admitted to her crimes after questioning, leading to Sahil's arrest as well. They both face serious charges including murder, destruction of evidence, and conspiracy.
The police encountered the sealed drum filled with cement upon arriving at the scene. After extensive efforts, they managed to unveil Saurabh's body, which was then sent for post-mortem analysis. The investigation unveiled that Muskan wished to divorce Saurabh, though he was unwilling. The murder stemmed from a love affair and domestic strife.
