Around 10 PM, a youth from Loharmandi was chatting on Instagram when a religious comment made during the conversation with another user sparked the controversy. This was reported to the police by the youth from Loharmandi.
As the police were initiating investigations, news of the incident rapidly spread, leading to people of a particular community protesting on the streets. Police had to exercise strict measures to control the crowd, resulting in the closure of markets.
