India's double medalist shooter Manu Bhaker recently had the honor of meeting with Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari. During this meeting, Manu expressed her gratitude and emphasized how his words encouraged her to strive for greater achievements in sports and life.
Earlier, Olympian Manu Bhaker also met with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. In a post on X, Manu shared her feelings of being honored to meet Rajnath Singh at his office in New Delhi. She expressed her gratitude for his support and motivational words.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also posted a picture of his meeting with Manu Bhaker. He stated, "It was a pleasure to meet India’s top shooter Manu Bhaker, who made history by winning two bronze medals for the country in the Paris Olympics. Every Indian is excited about her incredible performance. Best wishes for her future endeavors."
Manu Bhaker then met with former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who congratulated and wished her well. In a subsequent post, Hooda mentioned, "Today, I congratulated and extended my best wishes to Manu Bhaker at my Delhi residence. She has brought pride to Haryana and the nation by winning two medals in a single Olympics."
Manu Bhaker was also spotted at the Kartavya Path on Thursday afternoon.

It is noteworthy that Manu won the bronze medal in the women's 10-meter air pistol event, securing India's first medal in Paris. Following this, she won another bronze medal in the 10-meter air pistol mixed team event alongside Sarabjot Singh. On the verge of creating history by becoming the only Indian to win three Olympic medals, she narrowly missed out in the women's 25-meter pistol event.
