After taking a sacred dip at the Sangam during the Mahakumbh, millions of devotees are now gravitating towards Kashi and Ayodhya. A great number of pilgrims are eagerly anticipating their spiritual journey to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi. As a result, routes leading to these holy cities are witnessing significant congestion. The influx of devotees in Ayodhya and Kashi has filled the cities with an aura of devotion and spirituality.
According to government statistics, approximately 1.44 crore people are taking part in the auspicious bath at the Mahakumbh daily. On Monday, Dr. Sushma, who traveled from Ranchi with her son, told a news agency, 'After plunging into the holy waters of Sangam and exploring the fair, we plan to visit Kashi for the blessings of Lord Shiva and then proceed to Ayodhya.'

Similarly, 74-year-old Ketari Devi from Ara, Bihar, shared her experience: 'We've seen on TV and mobile that this Mahakumbh is happening after 144 years. After performing the sacred bath, we're hopeful to receive divine grace in Kashi despite the throngs of people.'
Nishant Abhishek from Mumbai expressed, 'We've heard about the heavy crowds in Kashi and Ayodhya besides Prayagraj. However, visiting all three places during the Mahakumbh is a rare opportunity; Ayodhya is definitely on our itinerary.'

In contrast, ACP (Traffic) Shailendra Singh mentioned that after witnessing the Mahakumbh, numerous pilgrims are heading towards Varanasi and Ayodhya. ADCP (Traffic) Kuldeep Singh stated that compared to the 2019 Kumbh, this time, even regular days are witnessing significant crowding, frequently causing traffic jams.

An official announcement revealed that due to the overwhelming crowd outside Prayagraj Railway Station, North Railway’s Lucknow Division temporarily closed the station for passenger movement from 1:30 PM on February 9 to midnight on February 14. Nonetheless, regular and special train services continue at eight other railway stations in the Mahakumbh area. Government data indicates that by February 9, more than 44 crores of pilgrims had taken a dip in the Triveni Sangam. By 10 AM on February 10, over 63 lakh devotees had bathed.
