An unexpected fire caused a stir at the Luni Railway Station in Jodhpur when it engulfed a camping coach. The coach, belonging to railway staff, burst into flames due to a gas leak while cooking. Employees present within the coach were understandably alarmed, and chaos ensued as station staff quickly began fire extinguishing efforts.
Panic as Fire Breaks Out in Camping Coach
Officials related to the railway operations shared that the coach was designated for employees working on the tracks between Jodhpur and the Luni section. Fortunately, since the coach was not connected to a train, this limited the extent of the potential disaster. However, with two gas cylinders inside that couldn't be removed, the risk of an explosion remained imminent. The cause of the fire remains undetermined.
Railway Staff Engage in Firefighting Efforts
Upon receiving news of the fire, Luni police quickly arrived at the scene. Railway staff present are actively trying to extinguish the flames. Thankfully, there have been no reports of injuries. Station officials are committed to swiftly bringing the situation under control.
