Manvendra Singh Murder Case:

Akshat, accused of murdering his father Manvendra Singh in Lucknow and hiding the dismembered body in a drum, is now in jail. Police report that during interrogation, he admitted his crime, stating it happened in a fit of rage. This case has shocked the entire area, with new revelations surfacing daily.

Uneasy in Jail, Akshat Murmurs through the Night

According to jail sources, Akshat was not in a normal state after arriving in jail. He couldn't sleep the first night and kept murmuring incessantly. Given his mental condition, the jail authorities admitted him to the hospital ward, where he is being monitored by doctors. It's reported that he consumed a small meal in the afternoon after persuasion but refused to eat at night. He sat by the wall and claimed during questioning that his father had beaten him before the incident, leading him to fire the gun. Currently, two security personnel are constantly monitoring him, and counseling sessions are being arranged.

Changed the Surrender Plan

According to police, Akshat revealed he had planned to surrender at the police station after the incident. Initially, he contemplated calling the police or visiting the Ashiana police station. However, a phone call from an acquaintance changed his mind. Investigation agencies believe that this person's advice led to filing a missing report and planning to destroy evidence. The police are now investigating the role of this close acquaintance.

Examination of Call Details and Digital Evidence

The investigation team is scrutinizing the call detail records (CDR) of both Manvendra Singh and Akshat. They aim to discover who they communicated with before and after the incident. Statements of other family members will also be recorded. The police intend to clarify who was present in the house during the crime and if anyone else was involved.

Efforts to Erase Evidence

Police sources state that the accused admitted he was gripped by the fear of being caught post-incident. Initially, he struggled to dispose of the body alone. Later, he attempted to erase evidence by purchasing items from the market. However, due to police vigilance and technical investigation, the case was exposed. Currently, the police are probing every aspect of the case.
