RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav today reached out to the voters of Pataliputra Parliamentary constituency. His daughter Misa Bharti is contesting the election against BJP candidate Ram Kripal Yadav. In an exclusive conversation with Aaj Tak, he made a bold claim regarding the 2024 general elections. Yadav stated, 'Narendra Modi claims to be an avatar. The election results will bring him down to earth. Modi is now gone... We will win all 40 seats in Bihar. This time Modi's farewell is certain, and on June 4th, our government will be formed. There is a strong wave in favor of the India coalition.'

Meanwhile, his daughter Rohini Acharya responded to PM Modi's prison statement, saying, 'Let Modi send our people to jail. Where will the Prime Minister go himself? To Pakistan to eat biryani? This is our Prime Minister, endorsing those who mistreat daughters and standing by their side.' PM Narendra Modi announced at a rally in Karakat on 25th May, 'The NDA government will not spare those who looted Bihar. I assure the people of Bihar that those who have plundered the poor and seized farms for jobs will face justice. Their countdown to prison has begun. Once their helicopter trips are over, their journey to jail will start.'

Speaking on the Saran shooting incident, RJD candidate and Lalu Prasad Yadav's daughter Rohini Acharya declared, 'All the BJP thugs are still on the run. File a case against me, do whatever you want. BJP's candidate says there will be gunfire. Go ahead, shoot at us. If I suffer even a scratch, from the Prime Minister to the Bihar government will be responsible. BJP is scared of a daughter, as we reveal the truth. The election is going very well. The end of this demon rule is near.'

It should be noted that Rajiv Pratap Rudy is the BJP candidate from Saran. Voting took place here during the fifth phase on May 20th. BJP workers accused RJD candidate Rohini Acharya and her supporters of attempting to hijack polling stations. The very next morning a violent clash erupted between the BJP and RJD workers, leading to a shootout in which a RJD worker was killed and several injured. Responding to the incident, BJP candidate Rudy accused RJD supporters of strong-arm tactics.

In a conversation with Aaj Tak, he said, 'If you bring five hundred, seven hundred, or a thousand people to someone's door and mount an attack all night, in the morning self-defense leads to gunfire.' India's general elections of 2024 are now just a step away from concluding. Voting for the seventh and final phase is due on June 1st. The last phase will see votes cast in eight Parliamentary seats of Bihar, including Patna Sahib, Pataliputra, Buxar, Ara, Sasaram, Karakat, Nalanda, and Jehanabad. BJP's senior leader Ravi Shankar Prasad is being challenged in Patna Sahib by the India coalition's candidate Anshul Abhijit, son of former Lok Sabha Speaker Meera Kumar.
