On Tuesday evening, US President Donald Trump held a phone conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the call, he wished PM Modi a happy 75th birthday and praised his leadership skills. The two leaders also talked about strengthening India-US relations and addressing global issues.

President Trump expressed his interest in further deepening the strategic partnership between the two nations. This move is seen as an effort by Washington to redefine and bolster ties with India.

Trump shared his conversation with PM Modi on social media, writing, “Had a great call with my friend Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Wished him a happy birthday. He is doing amazing work. Narendra, thank you for your support in ending the war between Russia and Ukraine.”

Earlier, PM Modi also shared the news on X, thanking President Trump by writing, "Thank you for your call and birthday wishes, my friend President Trump. Like you, I am fully committed to elevating the comprehensive and global partnership between India and the US. We support your efforts for the peaceful resolution of the Ukraine conflict."

PM to Visit Madhya Pradesh on His Birthday

This year, on his 75th birthday, PM Modi will visit Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday. He will head to Bhainsola village in the Dhar district to launch a health and nutrition campaign for women and families. He will also lay the foundation for the PM MITRA Park for the textile industry, aimed at transforming the country into a textile hub, boosting exports and employment. The government is establishing seven such PM MITRA parks across the nation.

MITRA Park will span 2,158 acres, with an estimated cost of about ₹2,050 crore. So far, 91 companies have been allotted 1,300 acres, with investment proposals of around ₹23,000 crore received. The park will be based on the ‘5F’ model (Farm → Fibre → Factory → Fashion → Foreign), streamlining the entire supply chain from raw materials to finished garments in one location.

Birthday Gift of Initiatives

On his birthday, Prime Minister Modi will not only lay the foundation for industrial projects but will also launch several social initiatives. He will kick off the ‘Healthy Women, Empowered Family & Nutrition Campaign’ to enhance the health and nutrition of women, adolescents, and children. Additionally, he will initiate the ‘One Garden in Mother’s Name’ campaign, encouraging environmental protection through women’s participation by gifting them plants.

Furthermore, he will inaugurate the ‘Adi Seva Parv’, focusing on activities related to education, health, skill development, and livelihood enhancement in tribal areas from September 17 to October 2. During the event, Modi will launch the ‘Suman Sakhi Chatbot’ and unveil the one-millionth sickle cell screening card. He will also transfer funds to beneficiaries of the Prime Minister’s Matru Vandana Yojana to ensure better health outcomes for mothers and children.

The event will be graced by the presence of Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.
