The cheetahs roaming the open forests of Kuno National Park in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, are enthusiastic explorers. As a result, videos of them frolicking or chasing prey are going viral on social media. A new video from Kuno National Park has emerged, featuring a cheetah hunting a deer. This cheetah is one of the four cubs of Gamini.
The video, captured on a Monday, shows a thrilling hunt. A herd of deer was grazing in the open forest when suddenly a cheetah emerged from the bushes, sprinting towards the herd. The vigilant deer scattered in multiple directions to save themselves.
The cheetah targeted a young deer that had fallen behind the herd. Quickly closing in, both the cheetah and the deer were nearing each other. At the very last moment, the deer abruptly changed its path, which caused the cheetah to lose its footing and stop. Taking advantage of this, the deer vanished into the bushes. The cheetah stopped, paused to catch its breath, and prepared for its next hunt.
