The return of senior players like Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav for the Sri Lanka tour is imminent. The key question now revolves around who will captain the Indian T20 team. Reports suggest that Suryakumar Yadav may take on the captaincy role for the T20 series against Sri Lanka.
The Indian team's Sri Lanka tour kicks off on July 27. India will play a total of six matches over 12 days in Sri Lanka. The T20 series, consisting of three matches, will begin with the first T20 on July 27, the second T20 on July 28, and the third and final T20 match on July 30. All matches are scheduled to be played in Pallekele, at Indian Standard Time (IST) 7 PM.
The teams will then proceed with a three-match ODI series. The first ODI will be held on August 2, followed by the remaining matches on August 4 and August 7. These 50-over one-day internationals will take place at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, starting at 2:30 PM IST.
