Shocking revelations have come to light about gym trainer Vimal Soni, accused of killing Ekta Gupta in Kanpur. It has been uncovered that Vimal had close and significant relationships with numerous women. Police investigations into Vimal's phone revealed several obscene WhatsApp chats detailing intimate conversations with different women. These behaviors highlight his close ties to many women attending the gym.
Prior to this, Ekta's businessman husband, Rahul, alleged that Vimal had affairs with many women and would frequent the officers' club with them. Rahul dismissed the police's theory of a romantic relationship between Vimal and Ekta.
Rahul believes there is a larger motive behind this murder and demanded a CBI inquiry for an unbiased investigation. On June 24, the murder of Ekta, Rahul Gupta’s wife, took place in Kanpur. Allegedly, after the murder, gym trainer Vimal buried Ekta's body at the officers' club, located near the Kanpur DM office. Vimal was arrested four months later, leading to the recovery of Ekta's remains from the burial site due to his confession.
Furthermore, WhatsApp chats on Vimal Soni's mobile revealed his contact with several women during gym training sessions. Rahul, Ekta’s husband, also accused Vimal of mixing drugs in the energy drinks he provided during training, making the women reliant on him.
However, the DCP stated that Vimal's WhatsApp chats are part of his personal life, and unless a formal complaint is filed, they are not justified to take action. While the chats provide insights into Vimal's character, legally, the police cannot accuse based solely on personal chats.
Joint Police Commissioner Harishchandra expressed that Vimal will be taken into remand for thorough questioning, aiming to uncover further truths. Yet, the Kanpur police have not sufficiently explained how a person could dig a 5-7 feet pit, bury a body, and leave undetected within an hour. This raises more questions about the police's revelations.
