According to the agency, the Delhi airport announced that due to a technical issue in the ATC system, at least 100 flights have been delayed.

Sources indicate that a software-related problem in the ATC is causing delays in flight operations at IGI, affecting several airlines including SpiceJet, which has led to challenges for passengers.

Delhi Airport has issued a statement regarding these disruptions. The statement mentions that due to a technical issue in the ATC system, flight operations at IGIA are experiencing delays. The airport team is actively working with DIAL and all stakeholders to resolve this issue swiftly.

Advice for Passengers...

The airport management deeply regrets any inconvenience caused to passengers. They advise passengers to remain in contact with their respective airlines for the latest flight updates.

The Airports Authority of India released a statement through social media saying, "Due to a technical issue in the Automatic Message Switching System (AMSS) at Delhi Airport, flight operations are delayed. This system supports Air Traffic Control data. Controllers are manually processing flight plans, causing some delays. Technical teams are working diligently to fix the system promptly.
