MP and actress Kangana Ranaut from Himachal's Mandi seat is once again in the spotlight for her statement. She has demanded that the three farm laws, which she claims are in the interest of farmers, be reinstated. She stated that farmers themselves should demand the reinstatement of these laws from the government. Kangana's statement has drawn a response from Congress, who asserted that they would never allow such a thing to happen.
In fact, Kangana had arrived in her constituency. Here, she held a meeting with party workers and took part in the BJP's membership campaign. Speaking to the media afterward, Kangana said that the beneficial losses for farmers should be compensated. For this, farmers should raise their voices because they are the nation's food providers and should come forward to speak their minds.
She demanded the reinstatement of the three farm laws, stating, "The laws for farmers that were withdrawn should be brought back, in my opinion. It may be controversial, but I believe these beneficial laws should come back. Farmers themselves should demand it so that prosperity can also reach them without any interruptions. Farmers are the main pillars of the nation's development. I earnestly appeal to them to demand the return of these laws for the benefit of all farmers."
Congress Responds
Congress shared the video of Kangana's statement on their official X handle, stating, "The three black laws imposed on farmers should be brought back. BJP MP Kangana Ranaut said this. Over 750 farmers sacrificed their lives, only then the Modi government woke up and withdrew these black laws. Now BJP MPs are planning to bring these laws back. Congress stands with the farmers. The return of these black laws will never happen, no matter how much Narendra Modi and his MPs try."
