Jio has announced a surge in the prices across all their recharge plans. However, consumers still have the option to recharge their connections at the old prices until July 3rd. Amidst these changes, Jio has removed two plans from their recharge portfolio. These were the value-for-money recharges preferred by many.

Had the company continued offering these two plans, they might have faced significant losses in the future. With this in mind, the company has temporarily discontinued them.

Still, the brand plans to reintroduce these recharge plans into their portfolio in the future with revised prices. The company has shared the increased prices for these plans. We are referring to Jio's 395 INR and 1559 INR plans that were part of the value plans list.

Both plans offered Unlimited 5G data, which was highly appreciated by consumers for their affordable pricing and extended validity. The 395 INR plan offered a validity of 84 days, whereas the 1559 INR plan came with 336 days of validity.

Jio has not only removed these plans from their Unlimited 5G list but also from their general recharge portfolio. In the new list, these plans will be priced higher. For instance, the plan previously priced at 1559 INR has increased to 1899 INR.

This plan will still feature 24GB data, unlimited calling, and 3600 SMS for a validity of 336 days. As for the 395 INR plan, starting July 3rd, it will cost 479 INR, offering 6GB data, unlimited calling, and other benefits for 84 days.

Similarly, their postpaid plan will now start at 349 INR instead of 299 INR. Importantly, Jio is now offering Unlimited 5G only with plans that feature daily data of 2GB or more.
