Mysterious Death of Tractor Driver During Sand Mining Sparks Outrage in Jhansi

A tractor driver died during sand mining in Jhansi. Allegations suggest attempts were made to hide the body, but locals intervened, leading the suspects to leave the body on the road.

In the Chirgaon area of Jhansi, a tractor driver met a mysterious death during sand mining, causing tension in the region as villagers staged a protest. This incident was relayed to a news agency by a police officer. According to the police, the event occurred at Murta Ghat, where a tractor overturned during sand mining, resulting in the death of its driver, Sunil Kushwaha (30), a resident of Chirgaon.

Locals claim that after the incident, some people tried to dispose of the body by taking it on a two-wheeler. When family members and villagers witnessed this, the accused left the body on the road and fled. Enraged, the villagers and family members accused the perpetrators of murder and blocked the Chirgaon-Murta Ghat road, disrupting traffic.

Further Investigation Leads to Charges Against Nine

Chirgaon's SHO, Kuldeep Tiwari, stated that, based on a complaint by the deceased's brother, Sukhram, an FIR has been filed against nine individuals for murder. Police are investigating all aspects of the case, and strict action will be taken against the guilty. Meanwhile, the body has been sent for autopsy, according to Tiwari.

Police confirmed that after officials arrived on the scene and cleared the roadblock, the situation was brought under control. Further actions in the case are ongoing.
