Recently, the case of a woman's gold chain being snatched in the city station area exposed this gang; CCTV caught all four women moving in a rickshaw and executing the crime.

Lately, Banda has seen an uptick in theft incidents, prompting the Superintendent of Police to form two special task forces. They uncovered that these women would start a journey with female passengers in autos or e-rickshaws and engage them in conversation to stealthily remove and pocket the jewelry, fleeing the scene afterward. They then sold the stolen jewelry for cash at undervalued prices.
