The revelation of a horrifying torture case involving a 15-month-old child at a daycare center in Noida has left everyone in shock. During a conversation with Aaj Tak/India Today, the child's mother expressed her unbearable pain, unable to hold back tears. She said, "Since viewing the CCTV footage, I haven't been able to sleep for a week."
According to the mother, on the morning of August 4th, her husband dropped their daughter at the daycare and headed to work. When she arrived to pick up her child around 12:30 PM, three teachers at the center met her at the gate and mentioned that her daughter might have chickenpox and has been crying incessantly. Suspicious of her daughter's condition, she took her to a doctor who revealed bite marks and advised finding out the injury's cause and location immediately.
Upon inquiring with the daycare center's owner, she was denied any wrongdoing, claiming the injury occurred at home or the clinic. The CCTV footage was withheld for several days.

The distressed mother revealed that upon requesting CCTV footage, the daycare's management and others pressured her not to file a case, suggesting she accept an apology instead. Even a policeman and the daycare owner Charu Arora's husband were present during discussions. She recounted, "I was repeatedly told that pursuing a case would close their school, and I should settle."
What Did the CCTV Reveal?
Eventually, after much pressure and assurances, the police showed the CCTV footage to the child's mother. Watching it left her horrified. The footage showed an aide closing the room's door and choking her daughter, inserting a pencil in her mouth, hitting her against the wall, throwing her to the ground, and subjecting her to 45 minutes of torment. She was even picked up and forcefully thrown down.

The mother accuses Charu Arora, the daycare owner, of ignoring the incident, as it occurred in the same flat room where other children were present. After viewing the footage, the mother had her daughter's CT scan conducted. She fearfully asked, "Could this have been happening daily for the two months my daughter attended? I can't bring myself to review more footage."
Case Filed Against Caregiver and Daycare Owner
In Sector-142, police promptly registered a case against the caregiver (maid) and the daycare center's head Charu Arora for assaulting the 15-month-old. The child had detectable bite marks on her leg. The police took immediate action, placing the maid in custody. A letter was sent to Gautam Buddha Nagar BSA and child welfare officials regarding the BLIPEE daycare center. The Noida police have also reached out to the labor commissioner, who is sending a team to investigate the center, where a minor girl was employed as a maid.
The child's mother explicitly expressed, "We enrolled our daughter in daycare for learning, play, and socializing with other children. How could we have guessed she'd be tortured instead? We're paying fees only to receive this in return? We demand the harshest punishment for the perpetrator and severe action against the daycare center."
