The audacious robbery plan by thugs in Jaipur's Kardhani area was successfully thwarted when a courageous shopkeeper stood his ground. The incident, which took place at Tanishka Store in Kaviraj Market, was captured on CCTV, clearly revealing the robbers' actions. This shocking event occurred at approximately 9:45 pm on February 6th.
As per reports, the store owner, Yogendra Prasad Sharma, was about to close his shop when two young men arrived, pretending to be customers. Their faces were concealed with masks. They initially bought items and even paid for them, raising no suspicion in Yogendra's mind.

Posing as Customers, Then Suddenly Attacked
A little while later, as Yogendra was busy retrieving more items, one assailant grabbed his hair from behind. Simultaneously, the other threw chili powder into his eyes. Taken aback by the sudden assault, Yogendra momentarily panicked, but the robbers began to beat him and forced their way behind the counter.
Following this, both attackers brandished knives and tried to take Yogendra hostage. The blade even tore his jacket. Despite the burning sensation in his eyes and the ongoing attack, he bravely refused to capitulate and began loudly shouting for help.

The Shopkeeper's Heroics Scare Off Robbers
Alarmed by his cries, the robbers attempted to silence Yogendra, but as his shouting intensified, fear gripped them. Alerted by the commotion, neighboring people sprang into action. Faced with the risk of apprehension, the robbers fled the scene, abandoning their scooter and running on foot.
However, they didn't get very far. Local residents gave chase, capturing both and turning them over to the Kardhani police. A search revealed two knives and chili powder in their possession. The shopkeeper subsequently filed a complaint, prompting a full investigation by the police into the entire episode.
