Iran launched 331 missiles and drones towards Israel. Israel's Iron Dome and the Arrow-3 hypersonic surface-to-air missile system destroyed all 185 suicide drones. Of the 110 ballistic missiles, 103 were intercepted. All 36 cruise missiles fired by Iran were also eliminated by Israel, with only seven ballistic missiles not being intercepted.

During this event, a luminous sphere was seen forming in space. It is believed that a ballistic missile from Iran headed towards Israel was in space when Israel dispatched its hyper-sonic Arrow-3 missile.

The hypersonic Arrow-3 missile obliterated Iran's missile in space, creating a large blue sphere from the collision that then dissipated. It's also speculated that the American warship's SM-3 missile played a role in halting the Iranian missile in space. The United States is reportedly standing by to aid its ally, Israel.

Arrow-3... Capable of Neutralizing Satellites in Space

The Arrow-3 missile system provides Israel with defense beyond the atmosphere. While the Israeli government remains tight-lipped about its range, speed, and precision, it claims that Arrow-3 is faster than its predecessor, Arrow-2, and is capable of shooting down satellites in space. Deployed since 2017, it has catapulted Israel into the ranks of a select few nations capable of intercepting satellites aloft.
