'We Don’t Want A-Bombs, But Enrichment Will Persist,' Khamenei Vows Iranian Retaliation!

Is Iran's government posturing for renewed confrontation with the United States? Ali Khamenei, Iran's supreme leader, has articulated clearly that while nuclear weapons are not a goal, uranium enrichment will continue unabated. By warning those exerting pressure that the Iranian people will retaliate, the intensity of the discourse has been elevated.

Iran has dismissed any possibility of dialogue with the United States. Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has emphasized that America consistently breaks promises, making negotiations with such a party impossible. Khamenei states that the US reneges on commitments, fabricates lies, and continuously issues threats.

Just months ago, the US targeted and destroyed Iran's nuclear sites in Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz.

Khamenei remarked, "The party we face (America) consistently breaches commitments, lies, threatens militarily, commits assassinations, and bombards nuclear sites. Engaging or striking agreements with such a party is unfeasible."

Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has stated dialogue with the US won't serve Tehran's interests and will only result in a stalemate.

No Desire for Nuclear Bombs, But Uranium Enrichment Won't Halt

Khamenei reiterated that Iran would not bow to pressure regarding uranium enrichment, restating Iran's longstanding stance of not requiring or intending to develop nuclear weapons.

It’s noteworthy that US President Donald Trump addressed the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, declaring that Iran must never be permitted to acquire nuclear weapons.

Khamenei countered, affirming Iran will not cease uranium enrichment. In emphatic terms, Khamenei said, '

Any entity applying pressure to stop our nuclear enrichment will be met with a decisive blow from the Iranian people.'

Khamenei asserted negotiations or discussions with the US in the current scenario would only harm the nation rather than prevent any potential damage.

Referencing the US attack, Khamenei said, 'They came and bombarded Iranian uranium enrichment facilities. Yet, enrichment is a science, and science can't be obliterated. It cannot be eradicated by bombs, threats, or similar tactics.'

No Self-Respecting Nation Would Accept

The supreme leader stated that dialogue under current conditions with the US is detrimental. The US wants to strip us of missile capabilities, including medium-range missiles. Accepting negotiations under threat implies submission to pressure, an action no self-respecting nation would endorse.

Khamenei's declaration comes at a juncture when Iran and European nations have agreed to continue discussions regarding Tehran's contentious nuclear program. Iran's Foreign Ministry conveyed this information on Tuesday.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, addressing the United Nations, too has clarified that Iran never sought nuclear weapons, emphasizing that the country 'never desired nor will ever desire nuclear armaments.'

On Wednesday, addressing the UN General Assembly, President Pezeshkian affirmed, "We do not wish for nuclear weapons."

This marks the first occasion since the 12-day conflict between Israel and Iran in June for an Iranian presidential statement on such an international platform.
