Land Controversy of Shrine and Waqf Property in Sambhal: DM Orders Investigation

Sambhal's district administration has initiated an investigation into financial irregularities and land encroachment concerning the Dargah of Dada Mouzmia Shah in Chandausi. Allegations have emerged that Shahid Mian has unlawfully occupied this Waqf land and is operating an unauthorized medical clinic. Key focuses of the investigation include financial transactions and the absence of the land in Waqf records.

Complaints about financial discrepancies and land encroachment have surfaced against the Dargah located in Jaita Village Panchayat, Baniyakhera Block, Chandausi, Sambhal. Complainant Javed claims that Shahid Mian is exploiting the Waqf land illegitimately.

No Trustee since 2019!

A police report indicates that an unauthorized medical clinic is generating illicit income on the site. The Waqf land hasn't had a trustee since 2019, leading to ongoing disputes over the property.

Tehsildar of Chandausi, Dhirendra Pratap Singh, confirmed the property isn't recorded as Waqf land in the revenue records. The primary aim of this investigation is to scrutinize financial dealings and verify the Waqf land claims.

Shahid Mian Submitted Some Documents

Following District Magistrate Rajendra Panshiya's investigation orders, Shahid Mian has been asked to present relevant documents, some of which have been submitted. The submission of additional documents is awaited to ascertain the truth behind the land dispute.
