On a tranquil Sunday morning, two individuals unleashed gunfire outside the residence of Bollywood megastar Salman Khan. The duo apprehended by Mumbai's Crime Branch in Bhuj, Gujarat, now faces the court in Mumbai. Both suspects bear roots in West Champaran, Bihar, and were identified as Sagar Pal and Vicky Sahab Gupta, natives of Masahi village in Gaunaha block, Narkatiaganj. Preliminary inquiries suggest Sagar Pal to be the gunman at Salman's abode.

A hush befell the suspects' village upon news of the incident. Amid their investigations, the police conducted a raid in Bettiah, detaining three locals for questioning before releasing them. Among those held were Yogendra Raut, father of Sagar, his other son Rahul, and one America Mahto. However, they were later released after interrogation.

Ashish is on the run, and was in contact with Sagar

Following police action, Ashish Mahto, son of America Mahto, and Sagar's alleged contact has been missing. Ashish's father was also taken into custody by the police. The shooting has left Vicky and Sagar's families in profound shock.

No previous criminal records have been traced for both suspects in the district. Vicky's mother, Sunita, relayed that her son went out to work two days post-Holi but his whereabouts were unknown to her. News reports eventually brought the incident to their knowledge. Vicky is survived by a son and a daughter.

Sagar left for Ludhiana to work, according to father Yogendra

Similarly, Sagar's father, Yogendra, was aware of his son working in Ludhiana but was clueless about his reaching Mumbai and why he would conduct a shooting at Salman Khan's house. The plight of these laborer families, uninvolved in these events, echoes through their disbelief and the silence of their village.
