Amid the stream of road accidents in Jaipur, yet another instance of negligence has surfaced. On the Chomu Highway, a driver intoxicated with alcohol caused chaos. Speeding recklessly, the tanker swerved left and right across the highway, alarming onlookers who swiftly informed the police.

The Chomu police arrived promptly upon receiving the information. They pursued the tanker for approximately 2 kilometers. Several attempts to signal the driver to stop went ignored, leading to a challenging arrest after blocking the vehicle.

The High-Speed Tanker Caused Widespread Panic on the Highway

The driver was identified as Chandrashekhar Yadav, hailing from Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh. The police seized the tanker and informed its owner. While a major accident was averted, the situation was extremely perilous, as the driver was completely inebriated and had no control over the vehicle.

Intensive Efforts by Police Result in Driver's Capture

The incident's video, showing the tanker swaying on the highway, is quickly gaining traction on social media. Despite recent instructions from Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma to tighten regulations following a recent dumper accident in the Harmada area, such events continue to challenge road safety in Rajasthan.
