The Quad Summit was held on Saturday (local time) in the United States, hosted by President Joe Biden. During this event, a journalist asked Biden whether the Quad would continue after the November elections. With his hand on PM Modi's shoulder, Biden replied, 'Way beyond November.'

During the Quad Summit, the leaders of the four member countries, PM Modi, Joe Biden, Australian PM Anthony Albanese, and Japanese PM Fumio Kishida were posing for a group photo. At that moment, a journalist asked Biden, 'Will the Quad continue after the November presidential elections?'

With his hand on PM Modi's shoulder, Biden said, 'Way beyond November.' His response elicited laughter from all the leaders. The presidential election in the United States is scheduled for November 5, 2024. After Biden's withdrawal from the race, Vice President Kamala Harris is the Democratic candidate, facing off against Republican candidate and former President Donald Trump.

India will host the Quad Summit in 2025. PM Modi announced that India is delighted to organize the Quad Leaders Summit in 2025. He expressed his immense joy at participating in this Quad Summit during his third term, noting that our meeting takes place amidst global tensions and conflicts. Therefore, it is crucial for the Quad to work together based on shared democratic values for the sake of humanity.

PM Modi stated, 'We are against nobody. We respect rules-based international order, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the peaceful resolution of all issues. I extend a heartfelt welcome to President Biden and all my colleagues.'

Biden: We Know How to Get Things Done

During the conference, US President Joe Biden emphasized, 'We are democratic countries who know how to get things done. This is why, in the early days of my presidency, I met all of you, visited your countries, and proposed that we make the Quad more consequential. Four years later, our four nations are strategically united like never before.'
