There are speculations that the raid by the Income Tax Department could uncover a considerable amount of undisclosed cash. The police were deployed outside the home to ensure robust security throughout the operation.
A Samajwadi Party leader admitted to having 68 crores in undeclared income, revealed during the Income Tax raid.
Raid continues for the fourth consecutive day on properties linked to Akhilesh Yadav, documents related to undisclosed properties discovered.
