Once the most powerful man (Prime Minister) in Pakistan, Imran Khan is now living a life worse than death. Standing tall at 6 feet 2 inches, Imran Khan claims he is confined to a 7-feet death cell in Pakistan's Adiala Jail, monitored 24 hours by CCTV cameras.
Imprisoned Imran Khan has claimed that he is being treated like a 'terrorist' and locked up in a cage. He endures confinement within the high-security jail's 'death cell,' deprived of basic human rights.
Treated Like a Terrorist in Jail
According to Pakistani media house Dawn, the 71-year-old PTI Chief, in an interview with British media 'The Sunday Times' from jail, made all these allegations. He stated in the interview, 'I am confined to a 7 by 8-feet death cell used usually for terrorists. It is solitary confinement with no room to even move.'

Constantly Recorded
Imran Khan further elaborated, 'Agencies constantly monitor me. Recording happens 24/7. I am not allowed any visitors. I don't have permission to keep pencils and paper, and I'm deprived of basic human rights.' Imran Khan gave the interview to British media through his lawyers.
Imran in Adiala Jail
Imran Khan is imprisoned due to three different cases. The first is the Toshakhana corruption case, the second is the Cipher case, and the third is the charge of unlawful marriage. He has been placed in Rawalpindi's high-security Adiala Jail for one year. His wife Bushra Bibi is also in this jail.
Grants of Bail in Many Cases
Currently, over 200 cases are filed against Imran Khan. He has been convicted in some cases and has received bail in several. Despite some sentences being overturned, he hasn't been released. Imran Khan was arrested on August 5 last year after being convicted in the Toshakhana corruption case. He has since been kept in jail for other cases as well.
Toshakhana Case Arrest
Earlier this month, after Imran Khan's conviction in the unlawful marriage (Iddat) case was annulled, the court ruled that if Imran wasn’t wanted in other cases, he should be released from jail. However, within hours, he and his 49-year-old wife Bushra were arrested in the Toshakhana case.
