In Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, a shocking crime has emerged, tarnishing humanity. A 13-year-old girl was lured by her Instagram 'boyfriend' with promises of love, only to be trapped in a nightmare. For three days, she was held in a hotel, suffering continuous assault, before being abandoned. What followed was a relentless 15-day assault by predators.
This disturbing event took place in the Gorakhnath area. On January 5th, the girl's parents reported her missing. However, it took the police 15 heart-wrenching days to rescue her from a nearby hotel, where the tale of horror left investigators speechless.
Investigations revealed that the victim had been in contact with a 15-year-old boy from Shahpur. This seemingly innocent friendship on a mobile phone turned into a so-called love affair. On January 1st, deceived by false promises, she left her home, falling into a trap. Her 'boyfriend' took her to the Bhumi Palace Hotel in GIDA, where they held her hostage for three harrowing days.

Drugged and Exploited: A Grim Reality

Sold to a Spa: A Crime Against Humanity
Humanity hit an all-time low when the hotel operators sold the victim to Ankit, the owner of the 'Green Diamond Spa Center' in Barhalganj. There too, under the guise of employment at the spa, further despicable acts were committed against her. Her condition worsened to such an extent that she was hidden away in another hotel, left to suffer alone.
Instagram Insights: A Breakthrough
SP City Abhinav Tyagi stated that tracing the victim was challenging as she locked her Instagram before leaving. It was only through access to her mother's phone that the police connected the dots. So far, hotel owner Abhay Singh, manager Adarsh Pandey, and spa manager Ankit have been apprehended. The 'boyfriend' is also in custody for detailed questioning.
