A chilling mystery engulfs the newlywed couple from Indore, Raja and Sonam Raghuvanshi, who went on a honeymoon trip to Shillong, Meghalaya. The family suspects that after Raja's murder, criminals abducted Sonam and took her to Bangladesh.
The Raghuvanshi community has also raised concerns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a letter, expressing fear over Sonam's safety and the possibility of human trafficking near the Bangladesh border.
The community's president, Prahlad Singh Raghuvanshi, informed Aaj Tak that Sonam's brother, Govind Raghuvanshi, along with another family member, are facing threats, endangering their lives. The community demands a CBI investigation into the matter.
Govind Raghuvanshi is relentless, assisting the police in their continuous search operations. He shared in a video, 'I am Sonam's brother. I sense Sonam is still alive. The police focus on uncovering dead bodies, but I plead for them to find Sonam. A CBI investigation is essential for this case.'

Govind detailed that where Raja's body was discovered, SDRF and NDRF conducted a thorough search but found no clues. Sonam had two mobile phones, both of which are still missing. According to the police, Sonam and Raja's last known mobile location was near the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Govind also mentioned that he last spoke to Sonam on May 20.
He stated, 'Sonam and Raja planned to visit Guwahati in Assam, but it's unclear how they reached Shillong and when they made these arrangements. We have never visited Shillong before, though we did visit Kamakhya Devi.'
The search for Sonam persists in this perplexing case, but the family and Raghuvanshi community believe that only a CBI probe can uncover the truth behind this enigma.
