In Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, a pet dog's bravery saved the lives of its family members, but sadly, it lost its own life in the process. At midnight, as the family peacefully slept, a venomous snake sneaked into their home. The vigilant dog noticed the intruder and began barking fiercely, instantly waking the sleeping family. However, by the time they awoke, the snake had already bitten the dog multiple times. Unwavering, the dog clamped the snake tightly in its jaws, refusing to release it despite being bitten.
Eventually, after much effort, the family managed to capture the snake, confining it in a plastic box before releasing it into the wild. The heroic dog was rushed to a veterinary hospital for immediate treatment, but unfortunately, it succumbed to its injuries after battling for a day.

The incident occurred in the village of Rampani in Meerut's Daurala area. On the nights of May 2nd and 3rd, at around 3 a.m., a venomous snake entered the home of local farmer Kallu. The family was asleep, unaware of the lurking danger, while one of the farmer's sons was sleeping nearer to the entrance. Their pet dog, Mini, quickly noticed the snake and lunged at it. Despite being bitten multiple times, Mini's growling and barking woke the family, revealing the ongoing struggle between their courageous pet and the deadly snake.
Mini managed to catch the snake in its jaws and held on firmly, preventing further harm to the family. Despite many bites, Mini never relinquished its hold and bravely fought until it collapsed. With the help of an iron rod, the family managed to subdue the snake, capturing it in a plastic box before relocating it to a safer location in the wild.
