Hero MotoCorp has launched the XPulse 200 4V Pro Dakar Edition in the Indian market, priced at ₹1.67 lakh (ex-showroom). This bike, equipped with a striking design and robust engine, is now available for booking. The new Dakar Edition is for sale alongside the Xpulse 200 4V and Xpulse 200 4V Pro, priced at ₹1.51 lakh and ₹1.64 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.
What's Special About the Dakar Edition:
In the world of automobile racing, the Dakar Rally is highly popular. This new edition is based on the Xpulse 200 4V Pro but includes several cosmetic enhancements to improve its look. Notably, the bike features a unique Dakar-inspired paint scheme.
The bike's fuel tank showcases the 'Dakar' logo. Additionally, the brand has incorporated compass graphics on the tank, indicating the Dakar Rally's location in Saudi Arabia. Initially hosted from Paris, France to Dakar, Senegal, the rally has been held in Saudi Arabia since 2020.

Power and Performance:
The engine mechanism in this special edition remains unchanged, utilizing a single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine with a 199cc capacity, generating 18.9 BHP and 17.35 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
The hardware largely mirrors the Xpulse Pro variant, although the bike now includes knobby off-road tires, enhancing its capability on rough terrains. A crucial requirement for a Dakar-inspired bike is exceptional off-road tires, which it fully meets. It features spoke wheels but lacks tubeless tires.
An adjustable front suspension is available, with a ground clearance of 270 mm. The braking system includes disc brakes on both ends, supported by an Anti Lock Braking System (ABS) and three ride modes: Road, Off-road, and Rally. Features include a USB charger, rally-style windshield, and closed-loop handguards.
