A heartbreaking incident occurred on Monday in Rohtak district, Haryana. ASI Sandeep Lather, stationed in the cyber cell, shot himself with his service pistol. The entire police department was thrown into turmoil after this event. A three-page suicide note and a video message were found near the deceased, containing numerous serious allegations against IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar.
In the note, ASI stated that IPS Y. Puran Kumar is deeply involved in corruption with substantial evidence against him. He also claimed the officer had manipulated the system through caste favoritism, causing harassment to honest officers. Fearing arrest, he took this drastic step, but he demanded justice even after his death.

Before taking his life, Cyber Cell ASI Sandeep Lather penned a four-page suicide note and recorded a video message. The note contained serious accusations against IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar, labeling him as corrupt and expressing that fear of arrest drove him to this extreme act. ASI Sandeep stated in his note: he is calling for an investigation with his martyrdom and insisted that the corrupt family involved should not be spared.
