Following last week's political reshuffle in Haryana, Naib Saini was sworn in as the state's Chief Minister. Mere days later, the cabinet has been expanded, incorporating eight legislators taking oaths to fill positions in the Cabinet and as State Ministers. The expansive reshuffle saw speculation around former Home Minister Anil Vij and various independents potentially joining the cabinet; yet only one independent managed to secure a position.

The oath-taking ceremony for the Haryana cabinet has concluded with eight legislators swearing in. Among them, one has assumed the role of Cabinet Minister while the rest have been sworn in as State Ministers, each now holding independent charges.

These Legislators Swore In for Ministerial Roles

Sanjay Singh of Sohna has taken oath as a minister. Vishambhar Valmiki of Bhawani Kheda and Subhash Sudha of Kurukshetra have been sworn in as State Ministers with independent charge. Abhay Singh Yadav representing Nangal Choudhary, Aseem Goel of Ambala City, and Seema Trikha from Badkhal also joined as State Ministers with independent charge. From Hisar, Dr. Kamal Gupta takes oath as a Cabinet Minister.

Ranjit Singh Chautala Earns Ministerial Post

With the inclusion of Ranjit Singh Chautala, the Naib Saini cabinet now comprises six Cabinet Ministers and eight State Ministers. Prior to the cabinet expansion, there were rumors that independents would be given roles; however, such speculations have not materialized for most.

Anil Vij Absent from Oath-Taking Ceremony

Former Home Minister Anil Vij did not attend the oath-taking ceremony, signifying his isolation from the current cabinet expansion. Despite earlier predictions of his participation, the minister was conspicuously absent both at this ceremony and previous ones. Expectations of Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini convincing Vij during his visit to Ambala did not come to fruition, as the CM returned without such a meeting.
