Videos of a student being beaten in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, are circulating on social media. In Kakadev region, thugs confined the student to a room and savagely beat him with kicks and punches for debt recovery. And when their brutality wasn't satiated, they stripped the student and bound a brick to his private parts, forcing him to stand.
The video shows that after beating and torturing the student, there was also an attempt to burn him with a welding machine. The student pleads while crying, 'Brother, I will pay the money,' but his cries fall on deaf ears as he is subjected to punches and kicked while someone straddles on his chest.
After the initial assault
, the victim was also subjected to face burning attempts with a boiler welding machine. In a frightful display, the student was threatened while naked as a brick was tied to his genital area. The video seems to be around 2-3 days old. It was one of the assailants who shared this video on social media.
