An overenthusiastic groom's attempt to film a daring drone video atop his car during his wedding procession in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh resulted in a police chase and eventual seizure of the vehicle. This caused much distress amongst the wedding party, leading to pleas with the authorities. The incident swiftly became the talk of social media.

The scene unfolded on a Tuesday as the groom named Ankit, from Bahayala village in Saharanpur, was heading to Kusawali village in Meerut. Amidst the journey on the Delhi-Dehradun National Highway within the Mansurpur police station's jurisdiction, the groom climbed onto the roof of his car to shoot a video with the drone camera. Police swung into action upon receiving the tip-off.

The moment police intercepted the groom's vehicle, they took control and began proceedings for further action. The groom's side, caught off guard by the police's swift actions, found themselves in a prolonged negotiation on the roadside. Eventually, the police took the vehicle to the station.

The Station Officer of Khatoli, Yatendra Nagar, informed that on NH-58, the groom's vehicle was seized when it came to light that he performed a stunt on the car's roof en route to Sardhana with his wedding party. The viral video prompted Mansurpur police to intervene and seize the car. Necessary legal actions are being taken.

The viral social media image shows the groom in his wedding attire standing on an SUV. Following the seizure, the groom and his companions pleaded with the police, but to no avail. The car was confiscated, and legal proceedings are underway.
