Political controversy has ignited over the wedding in Bengal. Opponents, including left parties and BJP members, have accused the businessman of being a TMC leader. The BJP district president questioned the source of funding for such an event, while other political figures have opted to avoid comments.
Birbhum BJP leader Dhruba Saha expressed surprise at Arbaaz Khan's attendance, questioning the lavishness of local nuptials. He speculated that a substantial amount was spent on the affair, and highlighted the alleged connections of Tulu Mandal with the TMC party.
Similarly, the CPIM district secretary Gautam Ghosh questioned Tulu Mandal's income sources, urging the administration and police to investigate the extravagant expenditure, especially if he claims no TMC affiliation.
