Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized on Wednesday that if someone does not feel proud when seeing the magnificent Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, their Indian identity would be deemed questionable. Speaking at the tribute ceremony held at the Gorakhnath Temple premises, the event marked the 56th and 11th death anniversaries of Mahant Digvijaynath and Mahant Avaidyanath, respectively.
Yogi Adityanath mentioned that there should be no doubt that anyone in the nation would feel pride at witnessing the grandeur of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He articulated that if an individual doesn't experience this pride, questions arise about their sense of Indian identity.
The Chief Minister detailed how Mahant Digvijaynath had vowed to remove symbols of servitude from the country and commit to building a grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Mahant Avaidyanath carried forward this resolution, and today, their shared dream has been realized.
Citing a Sanskrit Verse
In his speech, Yogi invoked a Sanskrit verse, emphasizing that every person possesses potential, requiring only proper guidance. He described Mahant Digvijaynath and Avaidyanath as guides for society and the nation, who dedicated their lives to their country and faith.
The True Essence of a Saint
The Chief Minister articulated that a true saint considers society as their family and the nation as their kin, identifying solely with Sanatan Dharma. He stated that when a true saint makes a resolution, its fruition is inevitable.
Symbol of Struggle and Determination
Yogi Adityanath declared that Ayodhya’s Ram Temple symbolizes the struggle and resolve of both Mahant Digvijaynath and Avaidyanath. According to him, it is not just a temple but stands as evidence of India's culture, faith, and determination.
