A major incident has emerged from Ghaziabad's Masuri area. On the night of May 25th, around 11 PM, the Noida Phase-3 police team arrived in Nahal village to arrest the wanted criminal, Qadir. As the officers attempted to apprehend the suspect, a crowd gathered, and chaos ensued with stone-throwing and gunfire.
During this violent clash, a bullet tragically struck Constable Saurabh in the head, leading to his instant death. Another officer, Sonit, was injured. An intense wave of anger swept through the police department, deeming this a premeditated attack.
Police Under Siege: Stones and Gunfire
Recognizing the gravity of the situation, multiple police units were quickly mobilized. The main suspect, Qadir, was apprehended shortly after the incident. Subsequently, four other attackers, Abdul Salam, Nannu, Musahid, and Abdul Khalik, were captured from different locations.
Interrogations revealed Qadir's extensive criminal background, including his prior imprisonments. To evade arrest, he and his accomplices launched this violent attack. Qadir faces 21 charges, while the other suspects also have serious criminal cases against them.
Five Suspects Arrested by Law Enforcement
This operation underscored the unwavering determination of law enforcement against organized crime. After the sacrifice of Constable Saurabh, all five suspects are now in custody, while the hunt for other fugitives continues.
