A shocking case has emerged from Ghaziabad where a woman falsely accused her cousin of rape. Once the police investigated the matter, the truth was revealed, and the woman alongside her accomplice, who orchestrated the fake rape case, was apprehended.

The Investigation Revealed False Allegations

On December 8, the Masuri police received a tip-off via social media platform X. Muskan, a resident of Kushalia village, alleged her cousin committed rape. Upon receiving the information, police promptly responded and began an investigation. During their inquiry, it was found that Muskan had already filed a complaint on November 28 at the Masuri police station against her uncle and cousin, citing assault and verbal abuse.

Following this, Muskan was interrogated. During questioning, she accused her cousin of raping her in the early hours of December 8. The police's deep-dive investigation revealed that this was a premeditated scheme she devised in collaboration with her accomplice Sartaj.

Charges Filed Against Muskan and Sartaj

It became clear through investigations that Muskan's report to the police was false. Shoaib's father also lodged a complaint, stating his son was falsely accused. Based on the findings, the Masuri police registered charges against Muskan and Sartaj for attempting to frame Shoaib in a fake rape case. Both were arrested, and Muskan confessed that following a personal dispute, she intended to extort money by ensnaring Shoaib in a fraudulent case.
