Ahmedabad Metro Network Expands to 68 Kilometers

With this, connectivity for 7 new metro stations will soon be available to the public. These stations include Gandhinagar's Secretariat, Sector 10A, Mahatma Mandir, Sector 24, Sector 16, Old Secretariat, and Akshardham Metro Station. Collectively, Ahmedabad's metro network will stretch to 68 kilometers, integrating 22 metro stations.

As for the Mahatma Mandir Metro Station located in Gandhinagar, it is uniquely linked directly to the Gandhinagar Capital Railway Station via a special walkway. This multi-connectivity makes it convenient to commute to and from Gandhinagar Capital and the Ahmedabad Metro.

Additionally, with the advent of these new metro stations, commuting between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar will be notably beneficial, particularly for employees working in Gandhinagar's Secretariat. It will ease access to locations like Akshardham, Mahatma Mandir, Gandhi Kutir, and Udyog Bhavan from both Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad.
