The Yadav spiritual storytellers in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh faced disrespect and now their family has responded. In a conversation with 'Aaj Tak', the family of Saint Singh Yadav, who was disgraced by having his hair cut, expressed their deep pain and accused deliberate mistreatment of spiritual narrators.

It's important to note that Saint Singh Yadav's family resides in Auraiya district. At their home, two daughters and his wife were present. The elder daughter, Anjali Yadav, stated on camera that she witnessed the mistreatment of her father on mobile. He was humiliated, beaten, and robbed of cash and a ring. They faced a fine of 25,000 rupees as well.

According to Anjali Yadav, the Brahmin individuals who took her father for the ritual knew he was a Yadav. Beating him in Etawah was wrong. We demand justice to prevent this from happening again.

Meanwhile, Saint Singh Yadav’s younger daughter, Preeti, shared that her father went for a Bhagwat ceremony in an Etawah village. During mealtime, the Brahmins questioned his caste and assaulted him, cutting his hair and locks. This video was circulated to publicly humiliate him. Furthermore, he was fined 25,000 rupees. His 15 years of attending ceremonies had never seen such an incident.

Preeti Yadav showcased her father's Aadhaar card, indicating that his caste is unchanged and is still recorded as Yadav. She questioned why someone would circulate a fake Aadhaar card labeling him as Agnihotri.

According to the aggrieved Saint Singh Yadav's wife, Sangeeta, they found out about the incident through their son, who saw the news on mobile and was very worried. The son spoke to his father over the phone. The next morning, Saint returned home and emotionally shared his ordeal. He revealed his braid was cut, he was beaten, humiliated, and cast out of the village. They now seek justice.
